Flying W Wranglers to play senior center

By Sally Farrell

Last summer, after a Flying W Wranglers concert, I found the courage to approach David Bradley and David was kind enough to listen to my ramblings of how I’d been a Wranglers fan for years.

I couldn’t stop talking and mentioned that I was the new Senior Center Programmer and would the Flying W Wranglers ever consider performing for our patrons? And, by the way, for a nonexistent budget? His response was a firm maybe. Wow, that was better than a firm no, and David gave me his card asking that I call him after the first of the year.

Five months later, that call was made and you know the rest. The Flying W Wranglers are coming to the Colorado Springs Senior Center!

This unique (and very generous) western musical group, will share their talent and our favorite tunes, all in support of the Senior Center and the service it provides to our community. Everyone, young and old, are invited to join in the fun.

Along with the wonderful entertainment from the Flying W Wranglers – David Bradley yodeler extraordinaire, Luke Tripp on the fiddle, Adam Gardino on guitar and Verolen Kersey on bass – there will be amazing refreshments provided by MacKenzie Place.

This concert is free to all. Donations will be greatly appreciated and will help support the Senior Center’s scholarship fund as well as future Senior Center programs.

Mark your calendar: 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 25 at 1514 N. Hancock Ave. Seating is limited so plan to arrive early.

Thank you Wranglers! From your longtime fan and Senior Center Programmer, Sally.
