As you enter the new year, ponder these additional names, titles, metaphors and descriptors of Jesus. Think what each name means in each situation that you may find yourself in this year. You will find that He is sufficient for every situation — large or small.

You might want to look up each name and see the context in which they are given. I pray you will be blessed as you discover anew all that Jesus can mean in your life.

As you press into the new year, remember the words of Paul in Philippians 3:13, 14, “This one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind … I press toward the mark of the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
