This photograph was taken at the Independence Day Parade in 1934 on North Tejon Street. The Disabled American Veterans held their annual convention in Colorado Springs in 1934. Most of the parade participants were DAV members representing three different wars – the Civil War, the Spanish-American War, and World War I.
