faith: Speak God’s word and be victorious

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory (making us conquerors) through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
1 Corinthians 15:57 AMP

This is a very important year for all of us, so I want to look at one word from this verse: “victory.” It doesn’t matter the challenge you face this year, keep this foremost in your mind.

Victory means to overcome and to conquer. Now is the time to keep moving forward in the pursuit of victory, expecting God to move in your life all while making preparations to succeed in every area. This year has given us many reasons to pursue the Lord this year and expect victory in our lives. In order to pursue your victory, you must have faith. Believe in God and focus on proclaiming His word without reservation. Remember that Almighty God is greater than any obstacle or challenge you face.

We’re all finding obstacles that stand in our way of victory. My husband and I need a victory in several areas of our life right now. Because of our faith in God, we are preparing to succeed in those areas even though it doesn’t always look like things are in our favor.

“See how the farmer waits expectantly for the precious harvest from the land.” James 5:7 AMP.

Give thanks and begin speaking God’s word over your life, your children, grandchildren and all of the other lives in your sphere of influence. As we speak God’s word, be like the farmer expecting to reap your harvest in victory. My husband and I have 10 children and 25 grandchildren, so there’s always something or someone we need to be speaking the Word over or believing God for. It’s exciting to see how faithfulness in believing His Word comes to pass in their lives.

The key is to never give up! Continue to be steadfast in pursuing your victory. Settle in your heart and mind that God will keep His word. Do not limit God with your thinking. How we think can change the outcome of our prayers. He waits to hear your words and fulfill them.

What do you have in your life today that you need to give thanks for and continue to speak His Word over?

“For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4
